Smugmugdomains.com include free email account?

What I'm really trying to do is to set up and email forward from pictures@danalphotos.com -> pictures@danal.com. danalphotos.com is a domain I purchased through smugmugdomains.com to set up a custom domain for photoes.smugmug.com. The custom domain itself with just fine. danal.com is another domain I own, not from GoDaddy though GoDaddy hosts the email for it.

I've tried doing this a number of ways that didn't work. I figured the fact that danalphotos did not include an email option was the root of the problem so I tried to set up what appeared to be free email.

I went to the admin page for danalphotos.com and tried to set up the free email account. However I get an error saying "credit cannot be consumed at this time":scratch . I've gotten this a error a number of time over a period of days.

So does a smugmugdomains domain really include a free email account or is that just an artifact because it is GoDaddy under the covers and the smugmug variant doesn't really include a free email account?
