Did you miss me?

Went to northern Minnesota for a week at Woman Lake, and stayed at
Woman Lake Lodge. We had a couple of nice days, but most of them were
cloudy with wind or rain, or both.

Anyway, a few pics.


The Loons seem to be everywhere on this lake.

The deer on the side of the road didn't even move when you stopped to take
their picture.

We got a treat one day. Pelicans flew over the lake for about 1 minute.
The sky was ugly, but I did the best I could.

Some found the fishing to be good.

WOW! Those are splendid!!! Great detail and sharpness.


Looks like a wonderful vacation spot - too bad the weather was disappointing!

The loon shots were killing me. The Sky's were overcast, so the water was
very light in color, then you get the black head of the loon in there. Lets
just say I took a lot of pictures of loons to get a couple of good ones.
I wonder if a polarizer would have helped?

As for more holidays, I have next week off, and I know were an albino deer lives.:D
