I watched three young Barn Swallows in Cades Cove on Saturday ....
They were so funny waiting for Mom (any Mom) to stop by with a moth, or other bug.
I don't like the wire, but I don't speak "swallow" so we had a communicaton issue
going on when I asked them to find a better perch!

:whew That's a relief...I was beginning to worry about YOU!!!:barb
Very nice shots, Bob. :thumb
There is a little noise in the BG if you care to remove it. At this size it doesn't matter...but if you want to print a larger size it might.
Oh! BTW nothing wrong with a barbed wire perch, IMO.

Thanks Ric. One of my "winter" goals is to finally learn how to use Photoshop. My photos are pretty much just raw images converted with some basic enhancement clicks and cropping where applicable.

Truthfully, I was afraid of PS. Stupid!
There are so many online tutorials and tips...a google away.
Wires are great!

Ric - Very nice image ... I would like to point out that the wire that my Barn Swallows sit on is much more bird friendly than yours! No barbs or rust on mine! :rofl
Thanks for the PS encouragement.

Flight shots of those birds are tough.
The static ones posted here look terrific - great detail.
