I took this shot the other day, I was looking for intersting angles. It's the bell tower of the local Anglican church. I converted to B&W, and I know the flagpole is blown out. But I'd really appreciate your critiques as there's just something bugging me about this and I hope you all can help:dunno

I think this is a great B&W conversion and the tonal contrast and range go hand in hand with the subject. Maybe what's off here is that the composition is a bit unbalanced. The wall on the left gives it more weight than the empty space to the right.

You may want to try and dodge the tower flag pole and the cloud in the upper left.

I actually like the flagpole blown. Gives it a "Angelical" feeling i think.

I agree with the building on the left though it does make it a bit unproportianal, makes me feel like the building is off center to the left.
