Decided to post two versions:

One for those that don't see life in color
&
One for those that do...

I like 'em both. :thumb The two versions even look pretty cool as one piece like you have them displayed here now. There's something very "Escher-esque" about the b&w one.

Makes me feel a little dizzy looking at it, like I'm in a fun house.

This might just work in the latest challenge "different perspective", as is with the shots side by side as one. Just sayin.

Escher was my first thought too. Here, I like the color more than the B&W. Very cool, and I do like the side-by-side effect.

Could also be a pic for those who live life looking through a mirror (rear view?).

Looks like a drawing -- or is it a processed photo?

I don't know which way I'm going -- in the BW photo my eyes have me going downstairs while the colored photo has me walking upstairs:rofl Maybe its because you flipped the photo.

I like how you set this photo up -- it works really well.

Is it "good eats" at the Cafe :D

These were taken outside the challenge timeframe.

Thanks for commenting.

Hey Andrew,

I didn't decide to post both until after I processed them. What's interesting to me is that even though it's the same image, I processed each version completely separately. I didn't just desaturate for the B&W version. I was quite surprised how closely the processing turned out between the two efforts. Guess my eye likes a certain look no matter if it's color or without.

Thanks for the comments.

Hey Mary,

My wife & I didn't eat here, there are soo many cool places to eat in Santa Fe it's hard to decide.

Processed photograph.

Thanks for looking rainbow.

I am even more impressed as you have nailed the shooting angle and perspective. It looks like an Escher because the stairs and doors seem to be going every which way.

And the processing is cool since it made me wonder if it was a real place or a drawing.

Cool image(s) Randy! That was very clever flipping the B&W so that it matches up with the color version. I'd like to see it all color though. :deal
