Distrurbing.
Why are you wanting the eye out of focus? Not a criticism, but a question.

I was going for the blank stare (as in coma) and thought the out of focus pupil was better.. idk

The hand orientation feels much more "A Clockwork Orange" than medical professional. Not sure what what to do. Perhaps just a thumb raising the upper lid? I get the OOF aspect and why you want it that way.

yes, i think a reshoot is in order.. as it was self shot :rofl
That's my hand and right eye.. (I injured it when i was 17). and besides it's already in medical books from the wierd scist that formed after the 3rd surgery. But i was going for creepy / dark .. think it helped in BW :dunno

Not the 15 minutes of fame one hopes for...
Dark and creepy is accentuated with the B&W.

Cool idea.

Creepy, but I see what your trying to do. Why not set the white of the eye as a focal point?

Yes, sorry if it wasn't clear, or something. Like the photo. Sorry that you had a medical journal-worthy cyst and three eye surgeries.

I'm going to give it another try.. it was also shot with my new marco lens, so I have lots of playing to do :thumb
