I was surprised by the color...:D Love how she getting ready to walk off the man-made into the natural, but still within a fenced space. Speaks loads about growing up. Love it. Only wish that the leaves in the center top weren't there, since it looks like off in the distance are someone's home.

Wow, this photo brings me back to my childhood. It really touches me, it could be a photo of me as a little girl. It is like a photo of a memory in my mind. I can almost smell the grass. Love it.

it's funny, but I've been doing a lot of these shots lately myself... must be something about little girls at that age always walking away that speaks volumes... :dunno
My God! We've discovered a whole new psychological archetype!
Quick, someone name and copyright it!
Nice one BD - Striking that the walk is "about to happen"-

Thanks - actually, I think Eugene Smith named it when he titled the iconic image of his kids - you can find it in, among other places, the book "The Family of Man" - "The Walk to Paradise Garden." :D

Beautiful color. It's like she's walking into a dream. I, too, wish the leaves weren't there. They seem to stop her. But I still love the photo.
