I cannot play my videos when in the gallery, however, I can play them when embedded as shown below.

Glad that I'm not alone.
I thought that nearly 6 years of loyal use of Smugmug (member since November 2003) would count for something. However, since this was posted on Sunday, I have yet to get a 'we are working on it' response. All I get is the cold shoulder.
This is extremely poor customer service if you ask me. I was thining about moving to the next service level, but this support issue has really given me pause. I can understand a technical difficulty, just say "hey we are working on it, stand by", or "this is how you fix it" - that is all I ask as a paying customer. So far, all I get is silence, and that is truly insulting.
Again, I wanted to make one point more clear. I do not mind if it is a technical issue with SmugMug - if it is, I totally understand. It might me something on my end, in which case a "it works on my end" from support would be nice. What I'm taking issue with is the dead silence that I'm getting on this.

This is the response I got in an email Monday regarding this problem:
There is a problem with the site at this time with videos in passworded galleries when using a custom domain and the flash player. We are working to get the issue fixed soon. Sorry for the trouble with that.
I can see them on my Mac using Firefox as it is using the Quicktime player. So the videos are there and working. They are just not playing for some visitors using PC's
I just emailed for any updates on this issue

Thanks, no more silence. I guess that I'll have to send emails in the future. Sad, since the answers I get cannot be shared with others; which is a benefit of the forum format.
Odd, in the email it said they were working on a mac, but I'm running 10.5.7 and could not get to work on Safari or Camino.

Here is the response I got last night in email when I asked for an update:
We are sorry we don't have any updates for you. But, as Andy mentioned. Please subscribe to the release notes blog : http://blogs.smugmug.com/release-notes/ This is the best way to keep and stay abreast of changes and fixes.
If we can be of further service, please contact us.
I have been having this issue since Sunday AM and still cant view the video files. When it brings up the window it just shows all the files as 00:00/00:00 and won't play anymore.

I have been having this same issue. All my videos play fine on all 3 of my Macs using Firefox. But my friends and family, and myself at work, using PCs with IE can not view the videos. And the description below that you got in your email seems to describe my problem.

All my videos are in password gallery, I just recently made a custom domain name. I sure hope they come out with a fix quickly!!!

I do want to address those of you that feel insulted. I really to apologize. It is my fault.
I wear several hats for SmugMug and the last few weeks I have been slammed. The recent release caused a bunch of custom domains to fail. I am one of the domain guys so I have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to help those customers out. I am also the bug wrangler for SmugMug. That release also caused a few new bugs that had to be investigated. I have been pretty much working on them non-stop.
I have asked Tristan to step up and help here in the forum some more as it appears that I am not getting to things fast enough.
If the issue is urgent, please do not post here and also email the help desk. That does cause double work. Please email the help desk and they will make sure that Tristan and I are aware of the issue from the start.
