I was out at Sonoma California this weekend to shoot my favorite sport of all time "Drifting". I wasnt able to get as close as i wanted to because of the ol' credentials speed bump but hopefully soon i will get there.

It was good times.
I am surprised you had issues with media passes...FD was very liberal with them.

Its a "sport" that I've never understood. I just don't get the whole point of it all. Some of your shots do seem to have a WB issue, and a few look dark on my monitor at work. The shot of the crew member working on the tire is a great composition but the exposure on the car is way too dark. Expose for your subject, not for the background. Better yet, fire the flash. The tire smoke shots are pretty good though.

#1 - thank you very much
#2 - i'd like to get into the hot spots a little bit closer. At least on ground level So I'm not shooting down on the cars.

WaGoNxBuRnEr: What kind of Camera and lens are you shooting with and what is the saturation setting on the camera?

Ah ok, you might just be running to high of saturation...
and that's whats tossing everyone off.
(I did the same thing)

I think you're right. Probably not a WB issue, just too much saturation.
