Can't open raw images

Just bought a 5D Mark 11 and tried to open a RAW file in both Lightroom 2.0 and CS4. I get a message that says, "Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." Can you help me????

Do youhave the latest version of LR? I think it is up to 2.4 now.

As shipped, neither CS4 or LR comes up to date with a current RAW converter. You need to update the software and then you will be fine for your 5DMKII
