1st let me explain. my daughter Heather has a nickname - every year we call her by her initial letter and her age. so this year she is 6 so we call her H6. ANYWAY, i took this image of her using the H1 ( testing it out for my son ) , again im using a very lame laptop and i cant judge how it looks.... taken on A mode with most parameters turned down. i tried using the automatic adjustments from photoshop but i cant tell how the image looks. what i want to know is ( truth) color? sharpness? overall impressions of the image - not the composition....
Since im on vacation im using a cheap laptop, but i want to know how this H1 stacks up......
Some data: iso 64, Aperature mode, f/2.8, no zoom, no crop, no flash.....

I don't even know what an H1 is...........sorry. This photo, on my old uncallibrated monitor, it is extremely sharp, but not too, and nice.
Almost too much DOF.
But, ooooooooooooooh your daughter, a real winner there!
Maybe you could test your H1 on something less compelling than your H6, she is gorgeous. I do think the camera, it must be a camera, and you, definitely do her justice. Gorgeous!

Methinks that H1 was his daughter 5 years ago and H6 is his daughter now.
Her skin tone is maybe a little red to me.

Cute shot. She's adorable. I really like the eyes.:thumb
I would crop in tighter. The background doesn't help and distracts. Her face should fill the pic.

The shot looks sharp to me. The colors seem to have a bit too much blue and the tint needs adjustement to reduce the pink hue on her skin.

To me besides all the above, the crop is off. I like the picture, but currently it is in between a tight crop (which it really isn't) and a full portrait (which it isn't either with the top of the head cut off). It leaves me in limbo, I agree with some of the others that the picture as is would be better cropped tightly.

Very sharp, lovely eyes.. is it a bit pink? I had'nt thought so until others mentioned it.. I actually thought the color was lovely. I think it's a lovely shot which would be even more lovely with a tighter crop.
