disable buy site wide

I was wondering if there was a way to disable the buy/cart capabilities on a site level? Meaning... if I'm out traveling for longer than my backprinting time without the ability to handle orders, currently I am just hiding the buy/cart buttons with CSS and have a little javascript sticky that pops up to say orders are not being accepted untilx date.
Can the buy option be turned off at the site level or am I right to just hide it?

Set printing to no in all your galleries, quick settings can do this.

You can hide the buy buttons but that's not a fool-proof way.

I should add, I can' t imagine, ever, doing this. Are you going somewhere where there is no internet?

Probably internet cafes but who knows. The issue is that when I joined, all the images I uploaded were watermarked prior to upload. Now I upgraded to pro and so if a sale comes through I have to replace the photo with a new non-watermarked version. So internet... probably... access to my image library to replace a photo for sale.. definitely not.

Looks like I can also change the backprinting time using quick settings. I was not familiar with this feature, I just wanted some way to temporize the situation without having to go into each individual gallery.
