Not bad Ben but you can't see much of the fella with all those branches. You should get your night heron to take lessons from my night heron on how to pose.

What is wrong with the two of you :dunno it is easy shooting them standing still and you two are experts :D now how about shooting them at ,what 200 miles an hr. I think thats the speed they fly at as soon as they see a camera :rofl here is a green [i think ] bif fron a begginer .This guy just came from left to right out of nowhere

I think I may have a flying NH, saved the shot, but it is a butt shot, was not sure if it is a NH, and it was far away, so may be a bit oof, so I never took it, and it certainly is not in my portfolio.
It does have the same markings as your flyer, Jeff.
Ben, I love your first NH shot, bushes and all, it is something different. And it looks more like mine than the others have: short neck and all. Colors.
Harry, yours has the black head, but the neck is longer. No way my NH is "sticking his neck out" like that: may be where the phrase originates.

ginger Maybe an OOf shot would be interesting............different, but it would have to be more OOF than mine is.
