That is one nice fishing photo. I love the way you caught the moment with the fishing line ready to whip around and catching the sun above the fisherman.

Thanks rainbow,

Glad you enjoyed the image. As to the timing on the shot, that's another example of the importance of knowing your sport. :thumb

Yeah -- in this case, you have to know both fishing AND photography to get capture such a moment!

That's a great shot, Randy. Love the color and composition. One nit is that on my monitor, there seems to be some banding in the sky on the left. Not sure where that came from :scratch. But it's not bad enough to ruin a great capture of a lovely scene. :thumb

'Almost' makes me want to take up fishing - no denying a great shot.

Morning Richard,

I can't see any banding on my system, but it's possible as I do reduce the resolution quite a bit on my uploads.

I appreciate your kind words and input.

Really lovely image, Randy.

Thanks BD,

I'm guessing this images story was easy to figure out, even without a subject title :rofl

BTW, I think your right that an image shouldn't have to be explained. When I post an image and someone ask for an explanation, I feel that I haven't done my part very well.
