Kids pics

Hey all

I am a sports ad shooter by profession, but a job just came open and I needed to shoot some kids lifestyle pics to show a client.
Had a friend come over with his little girl, and I shot these in the back yard.

What do you guys think? This type of work is way out of my element so comments and critiques would be great.

I like the bottom one here. How did you get the hair sto stand out. Kinda cool. Top is nice too.

I love #2!! the first one could use a little pop...her eyes are looking a bit dead, but it's a good pic!

I see what you mean about the eyes in the first one. I think I will brighten them up a bit and maybe add a touch of saturation to bring out the blue a bit more.

The crazy hair came from static electricity.
She was sliding down my boys slide and her hair started standing up.
I had her stop at the top where there was a dark background so the hair would really stand out.
