I'm interested to understand your rationale! :scratch

I too would like to understand the rational of an entry page. A lot of people use it so maybe I'm missing something. It just seems to me that by clicking on your site they already want to enter. Why else would they be there? Isn't an enter page redundant?

Why else would they be there? Isn't an enter page redundant? It depends upon what's on the entry page. If it's just a worthless extra click in the way of getting to what the viewer wants to see, then it's probably just a worthless bother to have one. But, if it's something that adds to the usefulness and aesthetics of the site, then it could be great. It all depends on the content.

It seems s/he intends to display just a single image. While entry pages are very common, "best practice" is not to have one just for its own sake. :deal
