I recently upgraded to IE8 and am now having a problem with three of my galleries shutting down the browser. When I look at my site through Chrome or Safari absolutely no problems. Here is on of that galleries that causes the problem http://www.shalamarimages.com/gallery/3679193_FJEPB#550235816_QYmsx. Anyone have any suggestions on whats causing the instability? Andy williams says it's definetly in my customization but I have no clue what i'm looking for. Thanks for any help.. Shawnhttp://www.dgrin.com/images/icons/lickout.gif

You have a lot of external javascript in your pages (snap.com, googlesyndication, doubleclick, google-analytics, statcounter, ixnp.com). It is most likely that it is being caused by how that external javascript in installed into the pages. IE can be sensitive to executing certain types of javascript before the page is fully loaded which means that those certain kinds of javascript have to be either scheduled for the page load or positioned after the page has loaded.
If I were you and trying to solve this issue, I would, one by one, remove the external pieces of javascript (or comment them out) until the issue goes away. The last one removed before the issue went away was causing the problem and you can then experiment with installing it later into the page (e.g. in your bottom javascript or in the custom footer).

Thanks for the help, although it seems tedious it sounds like a good plan..
