smugmug galleries loading very strangely

hey guys!

recently my smugmug galleries load really weird. For one the thumbnails load awfully slow and secondly they individually have to disappear when before a new page loads.. :scratch the first picture also jumps from right to left before anything loads at all.. photos open slowly and sometime the first photo of the page opens instead of the one you have selected.. all very strange because it didnt do this before..

Its not my bandwith because its good and on another computer in my house it works nice. It does somewhat coincide with me downloading the smugmug lightroom plugin and uploading a shot but i cant image that hindering anything.. :scratch

Try fully clearing the cache in the affected browser, close & reopen the browser. Let us know?

cleaned the cache using the browser cleaning tools and it didnt help.. also; in internet explorer the thumbs-section is 7 collums wide, leaving only room for a 'small' sized photo.. is this because i adusted my site using the ez customizer? :scratch

What gallery link - and what is the resolution of your monitor?

yeah, thats what firefox also displays when it is finished loading the thumbs. so IE8 and firefox 3.12 display it differently :scratch strange.. all sorts of display issues.

Please use FF, tools>clear private data and clear cache that way.

tried, but didnt help.. it does load well in IE but there i see it in this way :huh

firefox has the most problems with photos not wanting to open and pages laoding strangely

hey andy, im going to first check my computer thoroughly, it loads other smugmug site the same way (for example http://sgonen.smugmug.com/gallery/8461003_t6Gpz#P-2-20 ) so im thinking its got more to do with my computer than anything else.

i checked everything - twice. Things are running more smoothly now. I've updated firefox to firefox 3.5 and remembered to set my laptop settings to high performance. The thumbnails are a 'stretchy issue' i'll be diving into shortly. thanks for the support!
