I was playing around with the LP2 which was made for the 580ex but fit ok on my sunpak 383.
The 580 arrived a few moments ago:D

I really like this shot; looks like a pro studio shot:thumb. I like your use of the soft focus here, it does well at isolating the girl and her dog and center the attention on their faces.
