All of a sudden I found one of my Yosemity shots (http://nik.smugmug.com/gallery/528189) taking the 3d place in "Reflections" mini-challenge at stf (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1009&message=13965988).
Considering I never got any photo "award" this is a huge step for me!
I would not do it withought SM shootout and all you guys - thanks alot!:thumb
Cheers!:1drink

Yeah but most of the credit still goes to you because I've seen you work and you are definitely deserving of this and more.
Great job:clap

Just catching up, Nikolai. Congratulations! Your reflection shots are some of the most amazing of any from Yosemite.

Your own fog shot was something to die for.. let alone all you fine shooters'...
I guess I got lucky:-)
We'll see how I do in #52 "Hills and Mountains" (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1009&message=14001397):-) Most likely - the usual "thank you for playing" award :D

I've drooled over many of your Yosemite shots as well as others of yours. Just because someone hadn't picked your shots before doesn't mean they aren't first rate shots. I'd love to be able to get some of those captures (trying not to be greedy, but I'd take them all if given a chance).
Congrats on your placing, now go kick some butt in the new challenge of "Hills and Mountains" with your Yosemite shots:clap.

I simply "was in the right place at the right time having the right equipment and the right attitude". Your "Resignation" shot - that was something :bow
I submitted one Yosemite shot to the contest (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1009&message=14001397) (not from SM trip, though), but ultimately decided no to "overmilk the cow":-), so my other two entries are from different times/places.
Thank you for your support!
Cheers!:1drink
