This is a shot of Ponte Bone, maker of Cajun music, taken at Gruene Hall, Texas, oldest dance hall built in the late 1800's and still operating.

Shot with a 1951 Franka Solida III (German folding camera)

Franka made a "Prosumer" line of cameras, except for the Solida III which was in the league of Zeiss Ikons, Voigtlanders and Baldas with excellent lenses, and top of the line shutters..

I like this shots Jules (Love cajun music) but I wonder if it could have been more effective if more of the crowd were visible. Still, I like the nostalgic "feel" to the shot. :thumb

Thanks Musky and i'll try your suggestion. Yeah it seems as if these old cameras have a built in feel to them.
