I rendered all the videos in the gallery
the exact same way (720x480)

Why are some asking for a replacement image of 640x427 and others asking for 720x480?

I moved this to the SmugMug Video Support forum but I honestly don't know a likely cause. Hopefully someone will jump in to help.

Once finished processing they all asked for 640x427... so one mystery solved... But why didn't they come up as 720x480 as I rendered them?

Is there a reason why the videos are converted to these standard pixel widths? I pay for my videos to be upgraded to DVD quality with ANIMOTO and they are created at a resolution of 864x480. Unfortunately, after uploading to Smugmug, it gets downsized to 640x356 which is significantly smaller than the Hi Res upgrade that I paid to create. What's also annoying then is that the video can't be downloaded by viewers at the original 864x480 resolution. Is there any way around this?
Thanks,
Nelson

I am afraid that there is no way around it. All videos are converted to the standard sizes after upload. I believe the reason this is done is to support the standard devices that are used to view the videos, and to speed up the processing time. I may be wrong about that as it is not a question I have ever asked. The list of display sizes are listed here: http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/SmugMug/Video+Help
