I love this background, looks like a Studio Backdrop. :clap
Clearly separates the background from the Hoverfly as well as the flower.

I see you found Master Brian's Diffuser instructions,
the man is a true MASTER of Macro, and kind enough to share his skills and his knowlege with everyone :thumb

This is a beautiful shot your sharing here today :nod Skippy :D

thanks for the comment skippy!

the OOF flowers were a great background, its a bit of a lucky shot though :D most of my shots were to hard on the flash, hence the cry for help.

Brian is a great inspiration, he really got me into the macro business, but i must say that the patience and helpfullness of the dgrin regulars is amazing as well! :thumb

Absolutely beautiful! I wouldn't think you could capture so much yellow in a single pic and still maintain separation of the elements. I really like this one.

Hi Chrissie,

I agree, you've captured the hover in the first shot beautifully. Yellow and Hovers works exceptionally well :)

Nice captures in the other 2 added as well. I like the greens in the BG and the flowers add nice natural environmental detail.
