Jusr trialing SM, so new to this! I have been looking at the tutorial to add a banner to the homepage. Is the version used in the tutorial an earlier version, as I it seems to be different to what I'm seeing. Where they click on Control Panel, customise, it is different to what I get. Anyone tell me how I access the page with the css, to be able to add the banner?
Thanks.

First off, you have to be trialing at least a power user account to have customization capabilities. If you are, it should be Control Panel/Customize Tab/Click on "Advanced Site-Wide-Customization" and then scroll until you find the CSS field.

Ok, thanks for that. Is there much customisation in the basic packages, or do they all end up looking the same? Thata's the reason I have decided against zenfolio, I quite like the package, but all the sites looks the same. I currently use pbase, which is very "customisable" but at times it's soooo slow! Time to move on I think, just need to decide on which package.
Thanks

Standard accounts can choose themes but can't customize at all other than that - http://www.smugmug.com/help/themes.
Power and pro accounts have full customization capabilities. Follow the links in people's signatures here to see some different looks, or check out some of the sites linked from this gallery - http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1801307#118526631_q8xD5.
