The other night I was sitting on my front porch and I hear this thing. I look up and it's a kamakazi beatle flying right at me. I tried to move but it was too late. This guy landed right on my lip and bit me with those huge claws. I swat at it and it fell off my lip and I thought it flew away. I then came inside my house, sat at my keyboard and wouldn't you know it, I feel something biting my arm. I'm not sorry to say that he had to die. I'm sure I'll get some PETAfile looking to sue me for this one. "Ohhh the poor bug".

Sorry you got bit, but you got a good picture out of it!
Did you pose him on that flower?

Nope, doesn't look like Beatle to me, but it sure does look like a beetle! :):) All I could think about while this thing was in my presence was, "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Beatles". Even as I wrote that, I had Paul on my mind. He just played outside of the Ed Sullivan theatre. Good catch!

As far as the photo... Any opinions on the quality of the lens itself? Can anyone see anything within this photo to lead you to believe there is a flaw with the lens?
