Very nice! Hope you stayed dry on Saturday!! I wasnt able to make it, so thanks for posting these!!

What lens would you be using for these?

Uh, for staying dry ... I wish. I ended up getting caught out by turn 3, with no cover. Ended up being about a 1.5 km walk to cover.

Used the D3, and D300. Varied between the 18-70, 70-200, 300 2.8, and occasionally the 1.4 on the 300.

Ouch... I heard it was brutal. Hope your sheilded the Nikons LOL!!!!!

All of them are awesome, but I'd have to pick #7 as my favorite. With the close crop there is no need to show any of the track to know that he is in a turn, because you captured his hand on the steering wheel, with the steering wheel turned in the shot. Only thing that I would have liked to seen was his eyes through the sheild. But with the sheilds they are using now, it's probably almost impossible to get the eyes to show.

#1 & #10 are great shots! Nice color too. GO NIKON! :)
