Heh. Came here to check the same thing. Nothing on the Smugmug Wordpress site, but it looks like their entire domain is having issues. I'm having issues loading my custom domain, direct site as well as just "smugmug.com".

Update: Rest of the site seems to be crapping the bed, as well. /support gives me a Connection Interrupted error, and smugmug.com loads about half the time.

I would have liked to receive a notice via email, rather then have a client tell me about this.
Perhaps that is not possible?

Is it normal for Star Explorer to keep uploading photo's during network issues?
Shall I continue to upload, or cancel and try again later

Is it normal for Star Explorer to keep uploading photo's during network issues?
Shall I continue to upload, or cancel and try again later It depends upon the type of Smugmug failure. I have seen Smugmug accept the entire image, then return an error only at the end of each image upload. I've also seen outages where the image upload fails right at the beginning. And, there are probably all sorts of types of Smugmug issues that would not affect uploads at all. Fortunately, Star Explorer is good at keeping track of which images upload successfully and which ones don't.

What John said...
Naturally, if it's a major issue, I'd recommend to postpone the upload. Through the minor glitches S*E can push though.
