View Full Version : National Bison Range, Moiese, MT

Took a drive thru the Bison Range in NW Montana and had a great time. Saw elk, deer (whitetail and mule), fox, antelope w/baby fawns, bison and calfs as well as many birds and raptors.

Had the pleasure of eating lunch with this young lady:

Truly these are magnificent animals. Hard to imagine millions of them running around.

Such a variety of animals up that way. Number 1 has great composition and the splash of yellow that the flowers give the image is nice.

Welcome to Montana. Hope you enjoy the GTSRoad. Try to get a few hours to go north above St. Mary to Many Glacier. You won't be sorry. :D Thanks for the kind words.

Man, that bison is an ugly animal. Anyways, good set of pics. I did enjoy them.
