View Full Version : my first day with my Canon 14 ringflash

This morning I wanted to test my new ringflash with my canon 100mm +ef25 tube. Its a much lighter solution compared with my 580 brackets and so on. I thing its difficult to get a soft light without a diffuser.

Good series of captures with the new flash.
Not sure what settings you are using but often people use these with the power ratio between 2:1 and 4:1 to prevent the lighting being too even and flat and think they also do manage to get some extra diffusion on the flash heads.
