View Full Version : Evening Lightning Shoot

I got the chance to get a few daytime shots yesterday evening when a small LP shower went hyper static on me. It rolls up the shutter actuations in a hurry but it can be rewarding. I shot them with my Sigma 10-20mm EX so they are very much closer than they appear. :thumb

In the first case the bolt left the clouds pretty near over my head. :bow

Great captures! I've not been able to capture lightning the way you have. Do you use a lightning detector?

Nope, I shoot a bunch in daylight if the storm is really spitting or go bulb at night.

Wow, these are awesome, not only is the lightening great, but the clouds are fantastic. Nice work.
