We have comerants in NW ohio, but they seem to be pretty shy and I have never got a nice shot of one here.

In NC I was lucky enough to find this guy and he let me approach pretty close. I got several shots I like. I wanted to share them with you all.

And I like the lighthouse ones, too.

Are you home now? Oh, I love that place, I was on hiatus from photography the year we were there. But Okracoake, like a fairy tale village.

My daughter goes further up now, with her family. I would love to go and see the horses: take photos, too, of course.

Wonderful captures of the Cormorant, sp?.

Nice shot, great detail on the feathers.

I never saw any of them doing the famous wing drying pose. Go figure.
