I have not been here for a while. This is ordinary but it is something I am now able to create consistantly, tada! I admired this soft color look from other photographers for sometime and now I can do it!
This is our grandson in my favorite light in our house.

Haha! He is sooo cute:lust Great job on the lighting! I am not even going to say anything about his expression!:clap:clap

There are a few things that I might change though.

( 1 ) Haha, it seems to me that his cute little head is one-third off and two thirds on some kind of table.

( 2 ) The reflection in his eyes are very distracting to me, because the first thing that I look at is the eyes, I like to look deep into them. The left eye is worse then the right though.

Put aside these two faults, and it is an awesome portrait!

I agree with Mr. Quiet that it might be nice to have the background be completely uniform (more in the middle of the ...towel?), though the catchlights in the eyes don't bother me so much.

A slightly darker shirt might give more contrast with the background.

I'm not a huge fan of what looks like post-processed soft filter but that might be a matter of taste.

I love the sharpness in the eyes and detail in the hair though. That will draw the viewer away from any of these other nits. :D

Thanks! He is resting his head on a "Boppy", so he is not laying flat, and he is in front of a huge huge window with a large covered patio, great light in this spot!
