How to tag photo

How do I tag a specific photo or photos--Say one gallery has 100 pics and I don't want to have to go through all of them but want to quickly see my five favorite ones (for posting purposes), how do I make those stand out?

I'm a Support Hero here at SmugMug. Check out Photo Rank - https://www.smugmug.com/help/photorank.mg

You can give photos thumbs up ratings and they automatically go into a popular photos gallery. You can hide the popular photos gallery so that only you can see it or you can make it public. Either way, you can quickly find your favorite photos. :thumb

Ah! so that explains the thumbs up thumbs down--very duh moment for me.

Using keywords might be more effective since contributions to the thumbs up thumbs down results come from all viewers, not just to you.
