Hiding Gallery Categories from homepage buy still viewable via toolbar button

Hello all

my site is newjerseyfire.smugmug.com

I have a gallery category named other. Within that there is a sub category named bio pages. These are (or will be soon) all journal type with a blurb about our staff members. There is a toolbar button that says "staff" and links to those galleries. My question is how can I hide the "other" gallery category from the home page but still retain the ability to click "staff" and view those pages.
