That must be a hard shot to expose with the sun on the web. A bit more detail may show if you darken it slightly.
I am wondering if you can get closer to get more web detail (maybe reshoot with a macro lens?). This will also tighten the crop and perhaps draw the attention more to the subject.
You also might try cropping out the left and right 1/3s of the frame to turn it into a portrait orientation photo and see if you like it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I do have a very close shot of another web; I am working my way toward that one. With this one I wanted to get the 'strings' that were going from one end to the other; there were so many of them. But I think I blew them apart when I walked by his web. Here is the re-worked:
