These will be here mid this week. Can't wait to get out and play with them.

Also ordered a Cooperhill sensor cleaning kit.

Both lens are prime lens which should make them alot sharper then the zoom lens I've been looking at (one being the Bigma 50-500)

With the 2 primes that you bought, I think you can forget about the bigma.
Buy a $80 Tamron 1.4 TC. That will bring you 420mm, and I don't think you'll
regret it.

I was looking at the 1.4tc from Canon and Sigma but hadn't thought about Tamron, any one use the tamron tc?

I have one. It works great and allows for AF past the 5.6 apertrure limit.

(i am looking heavily into sigma lenses and would prefer one that would be more "compatible", with lenses I am getting)

Ohhhhh you lucky boy you, new toys, I'm going to get a decent tripod before the trip to UTAH in 2006 .....I can see your in for hours and hours of fun when your new toys arrive......congratulations....have fun :rofl
