That is very well done! I like that composition. The IR really brings out the detail and gives it a sort of respectful feel.

Howdy,
Oh My, you have really captured the true essence of IR in this image.
Wonderful perspective and composition, and the details you've captured
really makes this even more stunning.
Very, very nicely done!!!

Very well done! Great IR! You can really see the detail.
I need to get downtown more often. Maybe I'll go in September when there are less tourists around.

This is not merely a great IR shot, it's very well composed and processed. You have a artistic eye. Excellent work. :thumb :thumb :thumb

Thank you everyone. I appreciate your comments. I tried many compositions, e.g., trying to include everyone (lack details), isolate one person-- but this one works best to capture the haunting expressions of a group of soldiers.

I have shots of this memorial in color but the IR kicks some serious butt. The details you captured amaze me.
Great photo!

Linda and Skippy, thank you for the kind words. With the tiny LCD of the G6, I couldn't tell whether it had a good focus and captured the details until I got home to upload the images to the computer. This time, I was lucky.
