Just about on my last straw here-every change is a pain.
Anyway, since I have no choice but to make a sub-category for a large wedding with multiple galleries I've run into some issues I would hope to smooth out.
1) On my clients page (http://www.allentaylorphotography.com/Clients) I hate that its says "Clients Sub-Categories" for this new event. Can I change/rename this? Can I integrate it into the other "Clients Galleries"? Can I change the name of "Clients Galleries" as well?
2) On this same page can I arrange these sub categories and galleries on the page so they are not in a single file-maybe 2x2 or 3x3? Please no boxes.
3) Thank you.

To show your galleries 4-across on the subcategory and category pages, see # 10 in the advanced customization FAQ at http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=52811.
To combine the subcategories and galleries into one list, see http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=135064. If you wanted to just remove the headings and not combine the subcats & galleries into one section, that can be done too. Just post back here and someone (me if I am around, someone else otherwise...) will provide the CSS to do that.

Thanks for the help. I tried the script for combining the galleries and that worked well. As far as the 3 or 4 across mention that seems to refer to the homepage only and my need is in a client page I've set up where the gallery links are. So I don't think it applies or at least I can't see how to apply despite finding it and running through it myself and being constantly referred to it by others-much to my chagrin ;)
As for the sub-category title put in by smugmug, yes I would like to change it. In fact I probably would prefer it wasn't there at all. Any ideas? BTW here is the link to the page ass it stand now http://www.allentaylorphotography.com/Clients
Thanks again.

To get rid of the titles, add this CSS:
/* hide the rest of the subcategories box since we took everything out of it and combined it with the galleries box */
#subcategoriesBox {display:none;}
/* hide the galleries subtitle */
#category #galleriesBox #galleryTitle {display:none;}

That code applies to all category and subcategory pages.
Did you try it and it didn't work, or did you assume that it only applies to the homepage? If you tried it and it didn't work, please post a link to the problem page.

First thanks Jfreind that worked great. Denise I made the assumption that I was too tired of looking everywhere, seeing if it would work, seeing if I had to modify it, how to modify it, and try to figure out where to place it. See my thread title ;)

So you asked a question, received an answer, and decided you were too tired to try the code? The code I pointed you to can be used as is.
But based on the fact that you have questioned my (straight) answer - twice - and apparently still haven't tried it, I'll try not to answer your threads in the future.

Denise,
For some reason you are taking this personally. Please explain yourself as I was trying to be light hearted about it. Because excuse me if someone gives me a link that says "how to change your home page" and nothing else and I dig through it and don't find other mentions of how it relates to my issue or how can I can use it for the specific need I have so after many other wasted days an hours working on other pages as well that I tend to ignore it. Excuse me for not being a programmer for a living and should somehow magically know this information despite all my efforts and time. And excuse me for believing Smugmugs marketing and thinking my previous light programming experience would easily suffice to create the "professional" web site I envisioned without having to spend hours learning and finding code that may or may not work.
I'm sorry you can't appreciate this. So yes please go home with your ball, I don't want to play with you either.
