What is the best way to import video from the iPhone 3GS using iMovie? What are the best import settings?

I am going to have to defer this one to someone that has a GS. I have not had a chance to play with one yet.

Can't speak for iMovie, but what about just native settings?

Doc,

Could you tell also tell me the best setting to output from iMovie. I am shooting HD. Currently I just go to (Share>iTunes>Large 960x540). I don't find this to look that great when uploaded to smugmug.

it's 640x480 though, so you might consider "native" settings?

Yes, 640 x 480 for the iPhone. I am also wondering the best setting for my HD cam as well.

When you say Native, I don't see anywhere in the options that offer this. What compression type do I start with for either camera and what settings do I enter in those options?

Also, after those setting what do I export to, Quicktime???

I will wait till someone gets back on the iPhone settings.

Regarding HD settings from a different camera, please take a look at this and let me know why the faces are so blurry. Exported from iMove 960x540 using the "Share To iTunes" option "Large".
