http://www.michaelhampson.com/photos/569425128_QfrpE-L.jpg
This peacock fly (Callopistromyia annulipes?) was skittering back and forth on a post. I don't know much about flies, but with the wings held upright like that I'd guess it was some sort of display, a courtship dance maybe. Only problem is that what it seemed to be displaying to was a dried bird dropping, so I'm really not sure what I was watching...
Good capture- yes it would have been displaying to attract a mate.
