Mehampson - you just have to watch a damselfly hunting to realise how good their vision is. They will take insects stuck in spiders webs without getting stuck themselves. Although the damselflies I've watched always seem to pick off stationary insects unlike dragonflies which happily take out flying insects.

You really have to focus stack to get this mix of detail and DOF (and be shooting at fairly high mags).
