OK, yeah, maybe I'm dreaming, but I thought I'd take a chance and post it here before I drop the $ for new gear...

I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone who has used this setup and has any advice.

I'm also interested in the 180mm Macro. Any feelings about how much difference the L glass makes in this application?

I dont know about the 180L,but Troy aka windoze is having great luck with the sigma 180.
