I embed smugmug slideshows throughout my website. When I open a page I see the "loading" preloader box but it goes away after a few seconds and there is no indication that the slideshow is still loading. Then 5+ seconds later I see the first image. I don't want my site visitors to leave the page because it's blank. Is there any way you can get the preloader to stay up until the first image appears? Here's a sample: http://www.realshowingsf.com/listings/sf_74newmontgomery/photos.php

Some folks have done this with customizing. I actually use a background image, example, see NY Minute on www.moonriverphotography.com

Hello Andy, I've seen that on your website. And how would you do that ? I tried multiple option going through the forum, but could make anything work that would fit a picture behind the slideshow. Even tried code from http://ronmart.blogspot.com/2009/05/advanced-smugmug-customization-by-barb.html there I find only 2 lines to add in the CSS, but didn't work neither. It seems that something is missing.

If you could provide a link to the line of codes I need to a in the CSS or Biobox to achieve this, I would appreciate !

I want to do this on the main page, as well as a few other pages where I embedded slideshows.

Thanks,
Patrick.
