Shay,
The first one had me worried :uhoh It was pretty dark and blurry :dunno Maybe you could explain what's going on in that shot. Steve Look a bit closer, Steve. You can see the fawn just beneath the back left leg. I missed it the fist time, too.

Very nice and lucky capture! The first steps are great!

Maybe I should have cropped the first one but it showed how well hiiden the fawn was. I hadn't been to the park since February. I read in the newspaper that June is fawning season and I got lucky. The first photo shows the doe still has the afterbirth (is that the correct term?) attached to her.

As always I appreciate the feedback Steve:thumb

I didn't see the fawn for ages myself. I took over 700 photos today, I'm glad I got a couple of half decent ones :rofl .

I appreciate the feedback, thanks,:thumb

Thanks, I'm chuffed that I got one of the fawn in focus, there were twigs in the way and I couldn't get much closer.

I hope I'm not boring you with this thread. The doe ate the afterbirth. I remember watching a program on National Geographic which explained that the blood could attract predators.
