The first and the third are my faves- what a character he is! The last one- his eyes look a little unreal. If that were toned down a teeny bit- I'd really like that shot more. Love the colors!

What a handsome ham! I agree with the eye thing in #4, they are way over processed and I would bring up the exposure on #1 Looks like it metered the sky and not his face? Unless that is what you intended? You could dual process that in photoshop if you use it for your pp.

Thank you for the replies. I will work on holding back on the eyes.

Can you please explain the dual process you mentioned? I do use PS, but not sure how to do that.

Don't have the book in front of me where I learned it from but what it is in a nutshell....

Open 2 copies of the photo. On one adjust exposure for the sky(which in this picture seems exposed well) and on the other adjust exposure on your son's face. Then holding down the shift key drag the one of his face onto the other one. ad a mask to that layer and erase the background so that the bottom layer will show through. If you don't follow this I will repost when I get to the book.
