Interested in improving your photography? Are you able to help others improve theirs? Here's your chance!

Submitting a shot for critique: Post one shot to be seriously critiqued; one you believe represents your best work; one you're willing to stake your career on.

You'll be critiqued, and can respond if you like.

You can post reprocessed versions of the same image in the same thread, based on the whipping you received, for review or more whipping if you like. Only one shot per week can be submitted for a whipping.

Critiquing an image: Comment as much as you like on the photos, but keep it constructive, useful and about the photo.
Comments like "I like it" or "Nice capture" are not useful and will be rejected, but comments like "Good subject and composition but I think a more dreamy look would suit the photo better" can be useful.
Suggesting a greater depth of field: good (that is about the photo)
Explaining how to create a greater depth of field: bad (it is not about the photo and should go in the Technique forum).
Be honest and tough about the work, and treat the people here with respect, courtesy and humor.

Take Note: This forum is moderated, which means that all critique posts are approved by the moderators before they become public. Make sure your posts follow the rules above, and they'll be approved. Moderators will not edit your posts to comply with the rules. They will either be approved or rejected. If you have any questions, contact one of the moderators of the forum.
