Hi :)
So i stumbled upon bingocameras.com and noticed that they have very low prices. I'm imagining there is a reason for this, but would love to get a hold of some of this equipment at these prices. Has anyone heard of them or bought from them? --Lisa

When it comes to camera gear, usually if its too good to be true, its simply not true. I've heard that many websites like this only come to no good.

Be sure to get a second opinion on this though, because I've never heard of bingocameras.com specifically. :dunno

I'd suggest doing a quick Google search on them. With very little effort, I found this (http://thoughts-of-dave.blogspot.com/2009/03/danger-bingo-cameras-aka-bingocameras.html). :cry

Everyone should acquaint themselves with "ResellerRatings.com". Their review of "bingocameras" (about the lowest rating I have ever seen) is here:

When in doubt, read our threads:

Where to buy? (http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=5393)

When in doubt (2), you can use my recommendations:

B&H
Adorama
KEH
Calumet
Tallyn's

All have great service, including service after the sale. The prices are real and these are places with legitimate claims to warranty (authorized dealers) and they will be in business for some time. Those are the qualities you "should" be interested in, not lowest dollar.

The Bingo reviews bring back total recall of my dealings with "Camera Giants."

Thanks for the "good, bad and ugly" links.
