I am looking for a location for an e-session in Northern VA / MD. I am new to the area, and am having trouble finding a location. Client would like a country feel, with rail road tracks, maybe a barn?

Any advice?? :scratch

Youre saying youre having trouble finding a "country" setting in VA. Thats amazing!! I suggest anything west of Leesburg, anything south of Point of Rocks and anything North of Stafford County. THe entirety of Virginia is country save for a few plots here and there called Reston and Dulles.

Yes, I know that VA is the "country", I guess i am looking for more of a specific location? I have emailed a few vineyards and am waiting to hear back...
Thanks for the advice about Reston and Dulles. :D

I've used downtown Leesburg with much success. Morven Park is also a beautiful setting. There are many little burgs nestled in the foothillls, really just pick one that is convenient. If you feel like coming south, Fredericksburg has a few gorgeous places to shoot off the beaten path - most of them part of the National Park System and free to enter. A few do have limited hours of operation, like Chatham Manor, though. GL!
