Paper types for printing

i am about to order a couple prints to use as an example of quality differences. Also for me to see if it is worth the extra to order prints from Smugmug, especially being in Canada. I am wanting to compare Lustre and Metallic prints against some local places, such as Walmart, Costco, etc...

My question is if I order the same print in both Lustre and Mettalic is it simple to tell the difference? Is the paper significantly different? Is the paper labelled on the back at all?

Just don't want to order the prints and not tell the difference :)

Somebody will give you a good answer, but until then, you'll easily be able to tell the difference between the surfaces.
