I have a family gallery on my pro site that is protected for friends and family only. I have page after page of pictures. I know there is a way, but I must be over looking it. I want to sub-categorize events within my family gallery. Can one of yo kind folks please put me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Sean
Edited to add....I have now found the catergory, sub category help info at smugmug....No go. I have created a few sub categories for my family gallery, but can not find them. The directions seem easy, but I must be missing something simple.
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Sean

You won't see the subcategories until you assign galleries to them.
You can't split a gallery.
categories contain galleries and optionally subcategories.
subcategories contain galleries
galleries contain photos.
A gallery exists within a single category and subcategory.
Create a new gallery for each grouping of photos that you want, then move the photos from your one very large gallery to the appropriate new gallery.
